List template rows
GET/templates
A project or record template, including the XOS 4.0 Production Template copy. Returns a cursor page of template rows the caller may see. The default order is `created_at` ascending. Supports sparse fieldsets and the filter grammar.
Create a template
POST/templates
A project or record template, including the XOS 4.0 Production Template copy. Creates a template. Requires `Idempotency-Key`; a replay returns the original response. The organization is derived from the credential or the parent row, never from the body.
Get a template
GET/templates/{id}
A project or record template, including the XOS 4.0 Production Template copy. Returns one template with its `ETag`. A template the caller may not see returns 404.
Update a template
PATCH/templates/{id}
A project or record template, including the XOS 4.0 Production Template copy. Updates the fields sent; omitted fields are unchanged. Requires `If-Match` with the current `ETag`: a stale tag returns 412 and a missing tag returns 428.
Delete a template
DELETE/templates/{id}
A project or record template, including the XOS 4.0 Production Template copy. Soft-deletes the template: it moves to Trash and can be restored for its table's retention period.
Save a project as a template
POST/templates/from-project
Creates a template from a project as the caller (app.create_template_from_project): its defaults, show and standing venue scope nodes and open records become a published first version. Needs projects.template.write. Requires `Idempotency-Key`; a replay returns the original response. A rule that refuses the request returns 422 with `refusal` and `reason`.
