GET/lost-found-items
An item in the lost and found log, with photos as attachments and its claim state. Returns a cursor page of lost found item rows the caller may see. The default order is `found_at` descending, newest first. Supports sparse fieldsets and the filter grammar.
Create a lost found item
POST/lost-found-items
An item in the lost and found log, with photos as attachments and its claim state. Creates a lost found item. Requires `Idempotency-Key`; a replay returns the original response. The organization is derived from the credential or the parent row, never from the body.
Get a lost found item
GET/lost-found-items/{id}
An item in the lost and found log, with photos as attachments and its claim state. Returns one lost found item with its `ETag`. A lost found item the caller may not see returns 404.
Update a lost found item
PATCH/lost-found-items/{id}
An item in the lost and found log, with photos as attachments and its claim state. Updates the fields sent; omitted fields are unchanged. Requires `If-Match` with the current `ETag`: a stale tag returns 412 and a missing tag returns 428.
Record a claim
POST/lost-found-items/{id}/claim
Records a claim on a held item with the claimant's name, contact and proof. Requires `Idempotency-Key`; a replay returns the original response. A rule that refuses the request returns 422 with `refusal` and `reason`.
Dispose of an item

Disposes of an unclaimed held item with a reason. Requires `Idempotency-Key`; a replay returns the original response. A rule that refuses the request returns 422 with `refusal` and `reason`.
