List budget rows
GET/budgets
A project budget, structured as a chart of accounts by department and discipline. Returns a cursor page of budget rows the caller may see. The default order is `created_at` ascending. Supports sparse fieldsets and the filter grammar.
Create a budget
POST/budgets
A project budget, structured as a chart of accounts by department and discipline. Creates a budget. Requires `Idempotency-Key`; a replay returns the original response. The organization is derived from the credential or the parent row, never from the body.
Get a budget
GET/budgets/{id}
A project budget, structured as a chart of accounts by department and discipline. Returns one budget with its `ETag`. A budget the caller may not see returns 404.
Update a budget
PATCH/budgets/{id}
A project budget, structured as a chart of accounts by department and discipline. Updates the fields sent; omitted fields are unchanged. Requires `If-Match` with the current `ETag`: a stale tag returns 412 and a missing tag returns 428.
Delete a budget
DELETE/budgets/{id}
A project budget, structured as a chart of accounts by department and discipline. Soft-deletes the budget: it moves to Trash and can be restored for its table's retention period.
Get budget totals
GET/budgets/{id}/summary
Returns estimate, committed, actual and variance as NULL-aware totals. Unpriced lines are excluded from each sum and counted in `unpriced_count`. A rule that refuses the request returns 422 with `refusal` and `reason`.
