Views and saved views

Switch between list, table, board, calendar and other views, save the one you need, share it and open it by default.

Every collection in Atlas can be shown in more than one way. The view switcher above the collection offers only the views that make sense for the data on screen: a board appears when records have a state, a calendar when they have dates, a map when they have a location. A view that does not fit never appears.

Switch views without losing your place

Your filters, sort, grouping and search stay the same when you switch view type. A filter set in the table is still applied on the board, the calendar and the map.

Save a view

  1. Set the view type, filters, sort and search you want.
  2. Open Saved views next to the view switcher and choose Save current view.
  3. Name the view. You can share it with everyone in the organization or with one or more teams.

Open a view by default

Open a saved view, then choose Open by default in the Saved views menu. The page opens on that view whenever you arrive without filters of your own. Choose Stop opening by default to return to the page's own default.

Shared views and permissions

A shared view holds only the view type, filters, sort, grouping and search. Each person who opens it sees only the records their own access allows. Only the owner can update, share or delete a view.
