Getting around Gateway

Gateway is where you find work with organizations, do the work they engage you for and follow your pay. One account works for every organization, in Gateway, Atlas and Compass.

The five destinations

• Home: what is up next, what needs you and opportunities picked for you.
• Explore: open opportunities, the ones you saved and your alerts.
• Work: upcoming work, your engagements and your applications.
• Money: what you earned, your invoices, timesheets, payments and tax documents.
• Messages: conversations with the organizations you work with.

On a computer they sit in the top bar. On a phone they are the tab bar at the bottom of the screen.

The account menu

Choose your avatar for Profile, Documents, Settings, Help and Sign out. On the platform address it also has Switch org, which shows your engagements with one organization. The same panel sets the theme and the language.

Acting for a company

If you belong to a company account, the account menu lets you act as yourself or as the company. Acting as the company lets you apply, bid and message as it, and Profile shows the company. What you see follows your account role: Account Finance sees Money, and an Account Member sees only the engagements assigned to them.

Search and help

Press Mod+K or choose Search to go to any page, engagement or opportunity. Press ? or choose Help on any page for its articles, the shortcuts, What's New and Contact support.
