Create a comment
POST/comments
A comment in a thread. Creates a comment. Requires `Idempotency-Key`; a replay returns the original response. The organization is derived from the credential or the parent row, never from the body.
Get a comment
GET/comments/{id}
A comment in a thread. Returns one comment with its `ETag`. A comment the caller may not see returns 404.
Update a comment
PATCH/comments/{id}
A comment in a thread. Updates the fields sent; omitted fields are unchanged. Requires `If-Match` with the current `ETag`: a stale tag returns 412 and a missing tag returns 428.
Delete a comment
DELETE/comments/{id}
A comment in a thread. Soft-deletes the comment: it moves to Trash and can be restored for its table's retention period.
Comment on a subject
POST/comments/on-subject
Posts a comment on any row of app.comment_subjects by its table and id, as the caller, in the subject's main thread or the thread of an anchor, opening the thread on first use (`app.post_comment`). The subject's own read policy decides (404 when it is not visible). The add_comment action of automations calls it as the automation's owner. Requires `Idempotency-Key`; a replay returns the original response. A rule that refuses the request returns 422 with `refusal` and `reason`.
List comment rows
GET
/commentsA comment in a thread. Returns a cursor page of comment rows the caller may see. The default order is `created_at` ascending. Supports sparse fieldsets and the filter grammar.
