Procurement and vendors

Request quotes, commit spend with purchase orders, receive and match, and keep vendors qualified.

Buy

  1. RFQs: invite vendors to bid. Bids arrive sealed in Gateway and unseal at the deadline; award the one you choose.
  2. Purchase Orders: raise a PO to commit spend. A PO above your approval limit routes to the next approver, and you cannot approve your own PO. The vendor acknowledges it in Gateway.
  3. Receipts: receive goods against a PO, including by scan in Compass. A duplicate receipt is refused.
  4. Invoice Matching: vendor invoices match against the PO and its receipts before approval.

The Catalog binds canon items to your vendors and their prices.

Vendors

  • Directory and Classes: the vendors you work with and what they supply.
  • Prequalification: vet a vendor before you engage them. Someone other than the requester decides.
  • Insurance Certificates: collect a certificate from each vendor, with the additional insureds you require. Aurora can read a certificate and show its confidence in each field before you confirm.
  • Scorecards: score vendors after each engagement.
  • Sponsor Entitlements: list what each sponsor is owed and track its fulfillment.
