An opportunity and applying
Read an opportunity, check its requirements against your profile, then apply, bid or put forward a slate.
The page shows the organization, the pay, the dates and the place, what the work is, its requirements and its calls. The side card adds the rate type, the number of positions, the deadline, who can see it and any minimum age.
Requirements
Each requirement is a certification, insurance or equipment. Where Gateway can check your profile, it marks what you hold and what is missing; add missing certifications to your profile. The organization verifies everything during onboarding.
Apply
The application shares your name and email with the organization. You answer the organization's questions, can add a note and must confirm you are available for the dates. You can also share chosen sections of your profile with that organization. Where a fee is posted, leave it blank to accept it or propose your own; with Rate on Request, propose one or leave it blank to discuss it.
- Artists apply with the press kit from their profile.
- Vendor work and bid listings take a sealed bid from a company account: lines with an item, a quantity and a unit price, and how long the bid is valid. A line you cannot price stays unpriced, never zero. Bids stay sealed until the deadline, and no other bidder sees yours.
- Staff work applied for as a company takes a slate: the members of your account you put forward.
After you apply, follow every step in Applications.
Save or report
Save keeps the opportunity in Saved. Report listing sends the platform your reason; it reviews every report and gives the organization its reasons for any action.
