An engagement

Every engagement opens on Overview. The header names the role, the organization, the project, the dates, your role type and the state. When you act for an artist you represent, a tag says so.

Where it is

Four stages: Offer, Onboarding, Engaged and Close-out. A Blocked engagement waits until every required onboarding step passes; Onboarding shows what is left.

Your next steps

Documents waiting for your signature, with Sign, and the onboarding steps still open. The side card shows the organization, the project, the dates and the money terms of the engagement. Amounts show while money is open on it.

When tabs open

• Onboarding or Blocked: Overview, documents and onboarding.
• Active or Closing: everything, including the day-to-day tabs and money.
• Complete: documents and money stay open for 18 months.
• Canceled: documents stay open for 18 months.

In a company account, Account Finance sees documents and money, and an Account Member sees the day-to-day tabs.

Your tabs

• Client: Approvals, Schedule, Run of Show, Change Orders, Reports, Invoices.
• Vendor: Bid, Purchase Orders, Deliveries, Submittals, Advance, Invoices, Compliance.
• Contractor: Scope, Deliverables, Time, Invoices.
• Crew: Offer, Onboarding, Shifts, Timesheets, Invoices, Travel and Lodging, Per Diem, Credentials.
• Staff: Offer, Onboarding, Training, Positions, Shifts, Timesheets, Invoices, Credentials.
• Artist: Offer, Advance, Rider, Set Times, Hospitality, Guest List, Settlement.
• Sponsor: Entitlements, Asset Approvals, Activation Schedule, Proof of Performance, Invoices.

Every engagement also has Overview, Documents and Messages. An artist's representative sees the artist's tabs within the scopes the artist granted.

Rate and continue

When the engagement is Complete, rate the organization. Both ratings appear once both sides rate, or after 14 days. Continue on phone shows a code that opens the same engagement in Compass.
