Delete your account

Deleting your account signs you out and erases your sign-in, name, profile, devices and preferences. Every organization you work with is told. It needs a connection.

What can block it

A legal hold an organization keeps on your records, being clocked in, or being the only owner of an organization or company account. Compass names each one and what to do.

What is kept

Time and pay records, tax forms and engagement records for 7 years, as the law requires; records you created for an organization, without your name; the security audit trail; and a record of your request.

Confirm

Type your sign-in email, confirm it is you, then hold Delete My Account for 2 seconds.

If you sign in with Apple, Compass shows Apple's sheet once more, so it can stop using your Apple Account. If it cannot, your account is still deleted, and Compass tells you to remove it from Sign in with Apple in your Apple Account settings.
